About me

Hello everyone, my name is Angel. I just want to retire and do the things I love, free from stress and have fun, but to get there first I need to succeed in life and constantly try to become the best version of myself. Some of the things I want to do are getting fit, traveling, exploring new things, having fun, and learning new skills.

I am a second-year business student dual enrolled at LBCC and OSU, pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a pre-med focus. Currently I am lost in the direction I want to take, originally I wanted to get into med school after graduation, but due to unforeseen circumstances and new interests emerging I am considering joining the ROTC program but still very undecided about it.

I decided to take this marketing class because I feel like it could help me understand how to influence people and get information out to a wider audience. As the PR for a dance club at OSU, I manage our Instagram page. This includes creating posts to let people know when we meet, promoting events and fundraisers, and replying or reposting content from others. While I enjoy the work, I also realize I’m not great at creating content yet, which is why social media marketing is the part I’m most interested in learning. I want to learn how to create content that connects with people, attracts attention, and builds engagement, not only to help the club but for my own things in the future.

Outside of school, I love listening to music. I enjoy anything related to music whether that be karaoke, dancing, or just listening to it. I am also currently trying to learn how to play the piano although I just started practicing. I also really like watching anime, I am especially a fan of the isekai genre as I find a world different from ours a very fascinating topic.

Honestly, my main goal in this class is to pass with an A , but if I pick up some new skills along the way—especially related to marketing and social media—that’s a bonus. Overall, I’m looking forward to seeing what I can learn and how I can apply it to my current experiences and future opportunities.
